When does a 30-day plan make sense?
When you want to leave at any time, test a network’s coverage, or keep chasing better deals. You trade a slightly higher monthly price on some networks for complete freedom.
How to switch and keep your number
- Get your PAC. Text PAC to 65075 from your current phone. It’s free.
- Order your new SIM and give the PAC to the new network.
- Your number moves in one working day and your old plan closes.
On a 12-month plan? We’ll warn you before April.
Add your network and end date. We’ll email you before every price rise and three weeks before your plan ends, with cheaper SIMs already lined up.

Can I leave a 30-day SIM only plan at any time?
Yes. Give 30 days’ notice and there’s no exit fee.
Can the price of a 30-day plan change?
On a rolling plan the network can change the price with notice, and you can leave if you don’t accept it. giffgaff, SMARTY, Lebara and VOXI don’t raise prices mid-contract.
Do 30-day plans need a credit check?
Not on giffgaff, SMARTY, Lebara, VOXI or Asda Mobile. iD Mobile runs a hard check even on 30-day plans.
